Hospice TEEN Volunteer Training

VolunTEEN Program
- The Age requirement for the Teen Program is 14 - 17 years old.
- Parental Consent is needed on all paperwork.
- Teen volunteers are required to be fingerprinted through the Michigan Long Term Care Partnership.
- TB Tests are required if you do activities that places you in front of patients.
Here are the programs you can volunteer with:
- Cheer Teams (Group patient visits, deliver crafts, other uplifting activities)
- My Stories Program - (Visit with patients and record their life story)
- "Party Pals" Musician (piano, guitar, violin, harp) to play for patient events - also Singers!
- Help Out with Marketing Events
- Remembrance Teas (Serve English Tea with china to Nursing Home Patients)
- Tasteful Solutions (Juice Smoothies & Nutritional Information to Nursing Home Patients)
- More Events assisting Hospice Marketer with Volunteer Activities Team!
