Day Center hosts spend time with the families at the day center, playing with kids, watching a movie with a family, or chatting with the adults. Sometimes there is a lot of activity at the Day Center, and sometimes you’ll get a chance to relax and read a book or get some of your own work done while still being available for the guests should they need assistance.
Day Center Hosts provide staff with the ability to have a day off and allowing the organization to continue to serve families 7 days a week.
Day Center Hosts are only used on Saturdays and occasional Holidays when Staff are not available.
Saturdays are split into two, four-hour shifts: 9am-1pm and 1pm-5pm

Mission Statement
Family Promise in Anoka County (FPAC) is a non-profit interfaith hospitality network providing temporary shelter, hospitality and case management for families with dependent children experiencing homelessness.
Description
We recognize that poverty is a multifaceted problem that requires a multifaceted response. Our interfaith, nonsectarian network brings the faith community together to help our community's families regain housing, independence and dignity in a time of need.
In collaboration with 19 congregations and hundreds of volunteers, Family Promise in Anoka County provides hope during a time of hopelessness, safety during a time of uncertainty and dreams realized during a time of darkness for families experiencing homelessness by:
- Offering a 30 - 90 day program for families living in Anoka County who are experiencing homelessness
- Supporting families with advocacy to find permanent, stable homes
- Providing ongoing supportive services to help families maintain financial, family and personal stability
