The DSAGSL is seeking experienced caregivers to volunteer at our New Mother's Luncheon on August 26. This is our annual lunch for mothers who have had a baby born with Down syndrome in the past two years. We provide childcare so the mothers can enjoy a relaxing lunch together. All volunteers will be one-on-one with a child with Down syndrome under the age of 2. Volunteers should be comfortable around small children and should know how to hold babies. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact abby@dsagsl.org.

Description
What started out as a small group aiming to make a difference has turned in a large, far reaching organization with many of the same core values and goals.
Today the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis has a membership list of over 3,000 households including 1,800 individuals with Down syndrome. We have three core service areas: Awareness & Advocacy, Education and Family Support.
DSAGSL benefits the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families through a lifetime of support, education and advocacy. We envision a community where all people with Down syndrome can achieve their full potential. We are comprised of families, friends and professionals with this common interest. We know the joys and also understand the challenges of a child born with Down syndrome. We exist as an organization to encourage and support individuals with Down syndrome and their families on this journey.
