We're a non-profit dedicated to encouraging and fostering the education of children of Guadalupe. We do that through twice a week tutoring sessions where we work with children on their homework. A big issue for our children is literacy. Many struggle to read at their level.
Your job would be to spend 15 to 20 minutes sessions throughout the hour and a half after school program with children focusing on reading and reading skills. We use an online reading software called Reading A to Z and the children need assistance as they use the software. You can also practice reading with physical books of course!
If you have an interest in children and improving education in your community, this opportunity is perfect for you.
