The Lodestar Day Resource Center is a high-volume dayroom for homeless individuals. We supply supportive services, education and outlets for creative expression for our clients as they move towards self-sufficiency and a positive, successful future.
Our Day Room is a multifunctional facility that provides relief from the elements. In order to provide a dignified and calming environment we are working to revamp to room. As part of our vision we would like you to join us and renowned wood artist/ASU Professor Christine Lee to install a woven wood piece in the Lodestar Day Resource Center. Work in teams of 2 to learn how to weave wood pieces together to create a masterpiece! Sign up quickly as we can only take 10 volunteers!
Work encourage you to bring work gloves to avoid splinters.More opportunities with Human Services Campus
