Summer can be a difficult time for families who depend on free or reduced-priced school meals.
The Summer Food Service Program serves free meals to all children and youth, 18 and under, when school is out for summer break. This is a great program that is often underutilized because not enough families, teens, and kids know about it. Promoting summer meal sites in your community is one of the most important things you can do to ensure no child goes hungry this summer.
Let’s make this a hunger-free summer for kids in Oregon!

Summer meal sites are a safe place where kids and teens can enjoy a healthy meal, meet new friends, and stay active. Free summer meals can help families save money and stretch their summer food budgets. Find a summer meal site near you: http://www.summerfoodoregon.org.
