ORGANIZATION: National MS Society, Greater Illinois

MS Slugfest is a coed, 16-inch softball tournament benefiting the National MS Society, Greater Illinois Chapter, and hosted by our Junior Board (Multiple Solutions). This year the tournement will be held on Saturday, August 6 in Chicago's Mt. Greenwood Park.

MS Slugfest needs your time and talent! Volunteers are key to making the MS Slugfest softball tournament a success. Help plan the event, cheer for players, run day-of-event activities, and so much more. Volunteers receive a t-shirt and complimentary lunch.

Job/Shifts (times are approx.)

Set-up Crew: 6-9am
Volunteer Check-in: 6-10am & 10am-2pm
Photographer: 7am-noon & noon-4pm
Team Registration: 7-10am & 10am-1pm
Join the Movement: 7am-noon & noon-4pm
Medical Team: 7am-noon & noon-4pm
Bracket Board: 8am-1pm & 1-6pm
Field Monitors 8:30am -1pm & 1-5pm
Food & Beverage: 7am-noon & noon-4pm
Home Run Derby - Ball Catcher: 1-2pm
Clean-up Crew: 1-4pm & 4-8pm

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services to people with MS, provides more professional education programs and advances more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Seeking out and engaging volunteers to the MS cause is at the very core of our business.
