Dust off your boots and get outside to lend a hand in helping to knockout Japanese knotweed at Dead Man's Hollow Conservation Area! Volunteers are needed to whack, chop, and knock down this pesky plant along the new route for the Witch Hazel Trail. No experience required, just bring along helping hands and lots of energy!

ALT is a land trust that conserves green space in communities in Allegheny County and its environs. As a land trust we focus our attention on properties that provide three major benefits: biodiversity, water quality and protection and scenic beauty. The majority of our lands are open to the public for passive recreation 365 days a year. We manage and enhance these properties through volunteer efforts and community support.
