Mission Statement
The 2015 Firecracker proceeds are donated to the Saratoga Regional YMCA,
the Greenbelt Trail Initiative, Lions Camp Abilities at Skidmore College, Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce Veterans Business Council and the running programs at the Saratoga Springs High School. FC4 Inc, a designated 501(c)(3) not for profit manages the Firecracker. We are committed to our local athletes, the wellness of our community and the continued development of infrastructure that makes Saratoga Springs a destination for runners, walkers, bikers and recreationalists.
Description
The Firecracker 4 is a competitive yet fun race that includes a thundering start down Broadway, cheers from the historic city neighborhoods and an inspiring finish under our nation’s flag. The extraordinary success of this race is due to the incredible support of our volunteers, the City of Saratoga Springs and our Public Service team. In 2014, over 3600 runners enjoyed a spirited run, entertainment on the course and a festive finish with food, music and activities.
