The Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis and St. Louis Sports Outreach are teaming up for a day of kickball and fun on August 6th! There will be two games of kickball especially designed for athletes with Down syndrome and their families. The first game, for people ages 7 to 15, will begin at 11:30, and the second game, for people ages 16 and up, will begin at 1. We will need help with both games! Volunteers will be assisting athletes and handing out snacks and water as needed. Come play kickball and show your support for athletes of all abilities!

Mission Statement
The mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis is to benefit the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families through individual and family support, education, public awareness and advocacy.
Description
What started out as a small group aiming to make a difference has turned in a large, far reaching organization with many of the same core values and goals.
Today the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis has a membership list of over 3,000 households including 1,800 individuals with Down syndrome. We have three core service areas: Awareness & Advocacy, Education and Family Support.
DSAGSL benefits the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families through a lifetime of support, education and advocacy. We envision a community where all people with Down syndrome can achieve their full potential. We are comprised of families, friends and professionals with this common interest. We know the joys and also understand the challenges of a child born with Down syndrome. We exist as an organization to encourage and support individuals with Down syndrome and their families on this journey.
