Do you love children? Are you passionate about helping people with disabilities? Then the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis wants your help! We are hosting our Annual Meeting on August 11th at Myseum in Town and Country. The Annual Meeting is an annual DSAGSL tradition, where we invite all of our members to come learn about what we have accomplished in the past year and our plans for the upcoming year. We are in need of volunteers to provide childcare during the meeting. This means that more families will be able to attend! There are lots of exciting activities for children in the Myseum and we are expecting nearly 100 children so we will need a lot of help! Experience not required- must be 16 or older. Come and have fun with us at the Myseum!

Mission Statement
The mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis is to benefit the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families through individual and family support, education, public awareness and advocacy.
Description
What started out as a small group aiming to make a difference has turned in a large, far reaching organization with many of the same core values and goals.
Today the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis has a membership list of over 3,000 households including 1,800 individuals with Down syndrome. We have three core service areas: Awareness & Advocacy, Education and Family Support.
DSAGSL benefits the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families through a lifetime of support, education and advocacy. We envision a community where all people with Down syndrome can achieve their full potential. We are comprised of families, friends and professionals with this common interest. We know the joys and also understand the challenges of a child born with Down syndrome. We exist as an organization to encourage and support individuals with Down syndrome and their families on this journey.
