Our Explore Store team is looking for new additions. Do you or someone you know have 4 hours to spare each month to help out in the Store ? Volunteers in this area help out on Saturdays and Sundays at least once per month to sell items to weekend visitors. This is a great task for volunteers who would like to meet new people and share your love for nature.

Fenner Conservancy - a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and managing body for Fenner Nature Center - connects people to nature in the heart of Lansing through conservation, education and stewardship.

Through the efforts of this organization, Fenner Nature Center continues to serve as a place of connection for our community and a resource for environmental education regionwide.
Our vision is to be recognized as a regional asset and trusted community partner, providing meaningful points of education and connection to the communities we serve. Our mission and our vision are fulfilled by conserving and maintaining 134 acres of green space in an urban setting, developing and implementing environmental education programming for diverse audiences, and engaging volunteers to be caretakers of this valuable resource for the benefit of all.
