Duties include, data entry, managing correspondance, proof reading, scanning, filing, and other clerical duties. In addition to the clerical duties, this position also involves sorting and organizing donated clothing and small household items.
This opportunity takes place Monday through Friday between 9am and 4pm. Days and times are somewhat flexible but Monday, Wednesday and Fridays are the days most needed and when desk space is available.
Skills needed include a command of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel. Experience with Raiser's Edge is a plus. Training on other office equipment like copier/scanner, fax and postage machine is available.
Because of the population we support (adults with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness), volunteers are required to complete an application, provide a valid governemnt issued ID, pass background checks, and attend a short training.
