Assist the Ohio History Center's Volunteer Office with event registration for our annual Signature Public Program events such as All Hallows Eve, Dickens of a Christmas, Night at the Museum, Storybook Village, and more...

Volunteers will attend event trainings and attend events held in the evenings and weekends.

Volunteers will be assisting at the registration tables including but not limited to the following tasks:

warmly greeting volunteers as they arrive, have volunteers sign-in & complete waiver paperwork, passing out volunteer badges and/or t-shirts, and answering general questions.

Requirements: Volunteers must be outgoing, comfortable with public speaking, engage with staff and volunteers from different backgrounds.

Time Commitment: Evening and weekends on-call position. Must be available for 50-75% of events and trainings assigned to. Events are almost always on weekends. Volunteers will manage the sign-in tables for the first 1-2 hours of training and events. Volunteers are encouraged to stay and enjoy events and collect registration paperwork at the end of events. Volunteers receive 4 free passes to select events for friends and family.
