Join our Stewardship team each month for a work day. We have many ongoing projects at Fenner, including invasive species removal, prairie restoration, and wood chipping trails. Volunteers to our stewardship work days make a difference at Fenner Nature Center by increasing the accessibility and enjoyment of the park for visitors, and by furthering conservation and stewardship of the land. Volunteers will be given training and an orientation when they arrive at the park. Please wear closed toe shoes, bring water, and please bring work gloves if you own them.

Through the efforts of this organization, Fenner Nature Center continues to serve as a place of connection for our community and a resource for environmental education regionwide.
Our vision is to be recognized as a regional asset and trusted community partner, providing meaningful points of education and connection to the communities we serve. Our mission and our vision are fulfilled by conserving and maintaining 134 acres of green space in an urban setting, developing and implementing environmental education programming for diverse audiences, and engaging volunteers to be caretakers of this valuable resource for the benefit of all.
