At Encompass, teens from 15-18 years of age are welcome to work with our staff and clients to help provide A Better Way to Care! Come provide companionship, joy, and fun to patients who would enjoy spending time with youth. Learn what an RN, chaplain, social worker and CNA provide to patients. If you are thinking of a career in healthcare or you feel that you would enjoy working with Hospice patients this would be a great place for you.
Trainings will be held the third Thursday of every month, lunch will be provided for participants. Please contact Darci at dweiand@ehhi.com to reserve your training spot, space is limited.

Description
Encompass Health is looking for a office and patient volunteers to provide support to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, walking and caring for family pets, or even creating a photo album of the patient and their family.
