As a Volunteer Truck Driver’s Assistant, you will ride along with the truck driver to help drop off donations for the Lynnwood, Everett, and Smokey Point Stores. The truck leaves from the Lynnwood location.
Essential Functions:
- Ride in the truck to our 3 store locations to drop off donations
- Help driver load donations into the truck
- Assist with unloading donations upon return to the store
- Learn about Habitat and be able to provide material donors with additional information about the organization and stores
- Must be able to lift heavy objects with 1-2 other people (furniture, building materials, etc.)
- Must be friendly and have a customer service personality
2-6 hours shifts (depending on the project), Tuesday through Saturday. The day and time are flexible. We are happy to work with volunteer availability!
The ability to start and finish at our Lynnwood store, as the truck lives at this location.
