The American Cancer Society Wig Salon is looking for volunteers willing to help women undergoing cancer treatments select a wig. Volunteers should be comfortable working with women in active cancer treatment. This is a wonderful opportunity for cancer survivors or beauty professionals to give back.
Wigs are provided free to women in active treatment and based on our donated new wigs, volunteers help to assist women with color, length and style availability.
We are looking for volunteers available on Wednesdays and/or Fridays anytime between 9am-4pm.
Training will be provided and no experience is needed.
You can submit your interest through VolunteerMatch or email Heather Robison at Heather.Robison@cancer.org for more information.
