You may qualify for the study if you:
- Are between the ages of 18 and 60
- Have had low back pain for at least the last 12 months
- Have a BMI of less than 30
- Note: People with certain medical conditions and surgeries may lead to disqualification.
What does the study involve?
- Completion of surveys about your medical history and current activity level
- Evaluation by a physical therapist
- Physical therapy treatment one time per week, for one hour, for 6 weeks
- Movement testing at the beginning, end, and 6 months after the treatment period
- Completion of follow-up surveys once a month for 12 months after the treatment period
- Possibility of participating in additional sessions with your physical therapist
Benefits to you:
- You will receive 6 weeks of physical therapy treatment along with monetary compensation as you complete each stage of the trial (up to $300)
