Books By the Bay is a fundraiser event for the South Sound Reading Foundation, where community members come together for a night of drinks, food, music, and literacy, as we host acclaimed authors Jim Lynch and Peter Stark for a meet and greet.

We need volunteers throughout the day for a number of different volunteer needs, including:

Set up & decorating: 3:00 to 5:30pm (4 people, any age volunteer)

Tear down: 9:45pm (2 people, any age volunteer)

July 5 through July 14 walking around town delivering/hanging posters and card stacks to local businesses

We are also looking for volunteers (21+) for the following:

Security: 6:30--9:30 (1 person)

Drink station assistant to the bartender/food check: 6:30--9:30 (3 people - any shift in that window or the whole time)

Raffle ticket sellers: 7--8:30pm (3 people)

Game butlers: 7--8:30pm (4 people). Roaming around with a silver platter with game pieces for guests to play.

If you would like to help out in any way, it will be a fun and eventful night, and a free chance for you to meet published and successful authors!
