ORGANIZATION: Jewish Family Service Agency

We delivery food to home-bound seniors the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. We are looking for a volunteer to join our team to deliver food items to two seniors in the Henderson/Green Valley area. The food is picked up from our office (4794 S. Eastern Ave.) on either Tuesday or Wednesday (whichever is preferrable to the volunteer) and delivered to the homes of the seniors in Green Valley. The recipients are very appreciative of the service!

Description

JFSA was founded in 1977 to provide essential and affordable social services to the community. JFSA's programs touch the lives of well over 5,000 people in Clark County each year. JFSA is a non-sectarian agency and is funded through private donations, fund-raising programs, and a number of grants. We are a member of the Association of Jewish Family and Children's Agencies (AJFCA) the umbrella association of more than 150 JFSAs in North America.
