Bi-lingual Volunteers are needed in all Direct Service Volunteer Programs!
Local Latino communities are seeing an increase in reported cases of domestic violence. If you are interested in providing support and resource information to those in need, please contact us.
Volunteers are needed to assist with helpline calls, Crisis Response Team (CRT) members and provide translation at our new Family Justice Center.
Attendance at our state mandated, 40 hour training program is required. This training is offered twice a year; spring and fall.

Mission Statement
The mission of JBWS is the prevention of domestic violence through the protection and empowerment of the victim, the rehabilitation of family members, and the education of the public about domestic violence and its consequences.
Description
JBWS is a full-service, private, nonprofit domestic violence agency. We offer a 24 hour, free and confidential helpline, emergency safe house for victims and their children, counseling and legal assistance, children's services, transitional housing, life-skills education, vocational counseling, community education, training for professionals, teenage dating abuse prevention, primary prevention and batterers' intervention.
