The Public Information Department is looking for an intern to support the agency’s marketing and communications across all channels, from digital to print.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create and support visual campaign assets
- Prepare files for upload or printing
- Apply brand standards across all materials to ensure that all work that meets agency specifications
- Assist in developing solutions and organizing systems to improve design and communications processes
- Perform other related duties as required
Skills & Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field required, with one to two years of documented graphic design and/or communications experience preferred. Must be proficient in graphic applications including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of production processes required. Must be able to work collaboratively in deadline-oriented environment with several projects in process at one time. Must have a passion for producing high-quality work.
Length of Commitment:
July to December 2017
Schedule (including day and time if applicable):
Monday through Thursday for 20 hours a week with a flexible schedule between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Compensation:
Unpaid credit internship
