Sunday Streets Tenderloin

Don't miss this great opportunity to play outside on city streets and explore the Tenderloin with us! All volunteers will receive a free lunch and a Sunday Streets Volunteer T-shirt.

Sunday Streets is a series of events put on by the non-profit Livable City, in partnership with the City of San Francisco. We transform city streets into recreational space for the day and hem to pedestrians, bicyclists, and activities for several hours once a month. All programs and activities are FREE and open to the public.

Tenderloin Sunday Streets is on on Sunday, July 10 from 11am - 4pm. By volunteering for just 2.5 hours, you're ensuring the safety of participants and fun of car-free open streets.

What: Tenderloin Sunday Streets

Shifts offered:

  • Setup Crew
  • Intersection Monitor
  • Local Access
  • Mystery Shift
  • Breakdown Crew

Shifts are 2.5 hours long. Volunteers are in charge of the operations and logistics to make the event run smoothly. Volunteers under 18-years-old must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver and an adult must accompany those under 16-years.

Where: Golden Gate Ave, Jones St, Ellis St, Larkin St, and Fulton St ( map here)

When: Sunday, July 10 from 11am - 4pm; Volunteer shifts start as early as 9:30am and end at 4:30pm.
