Do you have 4-5 hours a month to volunteer? We are in need of a volunteer to add to our team for Tuesday mornings at the Down Syndrome Center at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Volunteers are typically scheduled one morning a month.
Interested individuals must take the volunteer training at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, then a short training at the DSAGSL office.
Volunteer responsibilities include meeting with families during their visit to the Down Syndrome Center, updating family contact information, sharing information about the Down Syndrome Association and reporting specific questions to the office for follow-up. If you are interested, or would like more information, please contact Abby Brandon, Volunteer and Events Manager, at abby@dsagsl.org or at 314-961-2504.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis is to benefit the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families through individual and family support, education, public awareness and advocacy.
Description
What started out as a small group aiming to make a difference has turned in a large, far reaching organization with many of the same core values and goals.
Today the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis has a membership list of over 3,000 households including 1,800 individuals with Down syndrome. We have three core service areas: Awareness & Advocacy, Education and Family Support.
DSAGSL benefits the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families through a lifetime of support, education and advocacy. We envision a community where all people with Down syndrome can achieve their full potential. We are comprised of families, friends and professionals with this common interest. We know the joys and also understand the challenges of a child born with Down syndrome. We exist as an organization to encourage and support individuals with Down syndrome and their families on this journey.
