Be a part of an innovative, non-contact boxing program for individuals with Parkinson's Disease. A variety of movements work on strength, endurance, balance and coordination. The volunteer will serve as a "Corner Man" who will assist participants in the class under the direction of the Exercise Physiologist and Rock Steady Boxing Coaches. This program has gained national attention as it has proven to slow the progression of Parkinson's Disease symptoms. This location is the only one of it's kind in the Dayton area.
