This is going to be a VERY Special 4th of July in 2016!
Not only is the National Park Service Celebrating its 100 anniversary this year- but your very own beloved Valley Forge is celebrating 40 years as a National Park (July 4 during the bicentennial year by President Gerald Ford)!
Please take a look through the different stations that will need to be staffed for the celebration and select a post and time that works for you. We hope you can help us again this year!

Mission Statement
The National Park Service was created in the Organic Act of 1916. The new agency's mission as managers of national parks and monuments was clearly stated: "....to conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and the wild life therein and to provide for the enjoyment of the same in such manner and by such means as will leave them unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations."
Description
Valley Forge was the site of the 1777-78 winter encampment of the Continental Army. The park commemorates the sacrifices and perseverance of the Revolutionary War generation and honors the ability of citizens to pull together and overcome adversity during extraordinary times!
