Currently our non profit organization is seeking fun-loving, driven, responsible, goal oriented, and compassionate individuals wanting to help innocent rescue animals. Positions require travel to and from our facility on the days specified which are flexible. Volunteers are asked to be present on the days scheduled for approximately 3-4 hours. No experience is necessary as we train our volunteer staff on how the daily procedures and policies should be. Some positions require physical lifting over 50lbs but will be done with more then 2 people at all times. Must not have a fear of animals (cats & dogs) although training on how to handle each will be shown prior to interacting with them. We have to specify that ALL positions are strictly voluntary meaning NO financial compensation or gain of any kind will be given for the hours and tasks completed. The time spent is very rewarding for most people knowing they are helping to impact these innocent animals who want nothing more than to be loved and show love.

- Feed and Water Animals
- Bathe Dogs
- Clean Indoor Cat Crates
- Feed and Water Cats
- Give Medications (Training)
- Organize Supplies

- Help With Fund-raising
- Track Inventory/Supplies
- Follow Up On Leads

If you are interested in helping the animals of our organization a few times each week and would like to volunteer to help with one or all of the above tasks we cannot wait to hear from you! Mission Statement
M&M's Fur-Ever Furbabies Mission: Our Mission is to help and give second chances to all animals in need. We strive to raise awareness about the overpopulated pet crisis and will encouragement a movement for change. Providing resources to community families such as food or help with spay/neutering to ensure pets stay out of the shelters and with families in addition to teaching our youth pet responsibility is how M&M's hopes to make a difference. This is more than our mission but also our passion. And if all else fails we know in our hearts that these innocent voiceless animals found their voice through us.
Description
M&M's Fur-Ever Furbabies is a Non Profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. Founded in 2013 our rescue is located in Cameron NC. We are a small group who believe all animals deserve a second chance despite breed, age or needs.
Origionally our rescue was dedicated to rescuing all breeds of dog. However our experience with Pit Bulls attracted them and Pit mixed dogs in. Again in 2014 we again decided to change our intake after receiving 30 sick cats & kittens abandoned on our doorstep. Therefore we are now known for dogs & cats but specializing in Pit Bulls, Pit Mixes, Special Needs and Disabled pets. Or as we say were the rescue who takes in all the needy animals others cannot.
We were recognized through the Pollination Project prior to becoming a 501(c)(3) and were featured in the Huffington Post online for our ongoing dedication and commitment in animal welfare. In addition to our usual rescue activites we do several awareness events to speak with those who arent familiar with the pet crisis here in NC. Our youth program fell into place because our kids help us at events and decided to tell their friends about how much they learn at the rescue.
We are always in need of volunteers, fosters, sponsors etc that are willing to help us in times of need. We understand not all can or want to foster some of the animals weve rescued which is fine with us. Many breeds have a bad reputation and its our mission to educate not judge anyone on what they think or what they dont know.
