Do you want to help kids who have experienced homelessness have a happy birthday?
Emma Norton Services is an organization actively combating poverty in our communities by partnering with women, children, and families who are homeless and experiencing the challenges of mental and/or chemical disabilities. ENS provides affordable housing, basic needs, and support services in an environment that fosters stability and encourages personal growth.
On the third Thursday of each moonth from 4-5 pm, we throw birthday parties for the kids who live here, and with your help, they could be made even better! Volunteers would be responsible for providing cake (or other treats) for the kids and helping our staff with various birthday games and activities.

Description
Emma Norton Services partners with women, children and families who are homeless and experiencing the challenges of mental and/or chemical disabilities. Without having to worry about the basic need of a safe, secure place to live, women and children can utilize and focus on supportive programs, life skills, services and opportunities available to accomplish their goals. We operate two site-based facilities in the Twin Cities, Emma Norton Residence and Emma's Place, as well as a supportive housing program in the community through our Scattered Site program.
Emma Norton Residence is a housing program in downtown St. Paul serving 50 adult women at any given time. Emma's Place in Maplewood offers permanent, supportive and affordable housing for 13 families with three or more children. After-school and children's programming includes educational, recreational, and motivational activities. Our new Scattered Site program partners with small landlords to support women and families secure housing and thrive in the community.
