On Mondays Skyline does not have a steady volunteer who can man the front desk. It would help the staff immensely to have someone reliable to answer phone calls, direct patrons, and answer any questions about the various programs at Skyline.
This job would require patience, good communication skills, ability to transfer calls/put calls on hold, common sense.
Mondays are our late days so the shift can last from around 9 AM to 6 PM if the volunteer is especially committed. But a shift of any amount of time is appreciated!
Training will be provided. Volunteers are also invited to share meals provided for staff each day.

Skyline has served the OKC community for over 40 years. Our agency is a mission of the United Methodist Church which offers different services for at-risk & under-served adults, youth and children. In addition to the Food Resource Center, Skyline is home to several other programs meant to assist those struggling with poverty. The ultimate goal is to restore dignity to the lives of patrons, end stereotypes, and foster a new era of compassion and respect for those living on the margins.
