In an effort to provide more healthyful and nutritious food to our clients and partner agencies, the Great Plains Food Bank is excited to be partnering with the Red River Market this season! The Red River Market is a weekly farmer's market in downtown Fargo comprised of vendors from Fargo-Moorhead and the surrounding area. The vendors are comprised of local growers, sowers, makers and bakers, and many of them need to find a suitable home for their surplus goods!
We are seeking a volunteer to assist with collecting weekly surplus food from the Red River Market donors and delivering them to local partner agencies. This volunteer would receive a CSA box of food every week in compensation for their efforts. To qualify, you must be 18 or older and have sufficient transportation to deliver the surplus food.

Description
The guiding principles of the Great Plains Food Bank are simple:
Our Vision: A hunger-free North Dakota and western Minnesota.
Our Values: We do all things in the spirit of leadership, innovation, integrity and collaboration.
The Great Plains Food Bank has been a program of Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota for the past 33 years. We are looking forward to ending hunger across North Dakota and Western Minnesota as an independent organization.
