Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina needs volunteers on Tuesday mornings 9am - 12noon at our Spartanburg Warehouse to inspect and sort non-food items. Ages 16+ are welcome. If you need community service hours for school, your organization or work, this is a great opportunity to help us and our neighbors in need.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina distributes more than 46 million pounds of food as well as non-food products to our 650 non-profit partner agencies thru-out 14 counties in NC and 5 counties in SC. We could not do what we do without our amazing volunteers!

Description
Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina serves 24 counties in the Metrolina area. We help over 900 hunger-fighting agencies in our 24 county service region get food to serve to our neighbors in need. Over 200 of our agencies are in Mecklenburg county. Our warehouse runs 5 days a week to get out thousands of pounds of food a week. Last year, we distributed 78 million pounds of food to our partner agencies!
