Alexander Youth Network is looking for Lunch or Dinner Buddies to spend one hour per week with an emotionally troubled child in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility or Day Treatment program. Buddies are matched one-on-one with a child to provide friendship, a listening ear and a positive example for the child. Following lunch or dinner, the pair can play games, do crafts, read, or other activities that the child might be interested in. A minimum 6-month commitment to weekly visits is required.
