We are looking for volunteers for the following positions

Campaign Materials Volunteer

One-time (4 hour minimum) or reoccurring commitment (2 hrs/wk minimum, 2-3 times/wk) - either is acceptable

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday

Function: create campaign materials for companies requiring individualized collateral

Function Duty: edit photos and create posters in Adobe InDesign or Photoshop

Function Skills: basic graphic design skills; a keen eye for adhering to brand standards

Social Media Volunteer

Ongoing

Reoccurring commitment for a minimum of one month is preferred (2 hrs/wk)

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday

Function: assist with daily activity of Trident United Way’s Facebook and Twitter accounts

Function Duty: edit and upload photos after events; source and write social media content; connect with influencers and stakeholders; engage with followers

Function Skills: basic computer skills; polished writing skills

Graphic Design Volunteer

Ongoing

Reoccurring commitment for a minimum of one month is preferred (2 hrs/wk)

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday

Function: create images for Facebook and Twitter posts

Function Duty: edit photos and create graphics in Adobe InDesign or Photoshop

Function Skills: basic graphic design skills; a keen eye for adhering to brand standards

Website Content Volunteer

Ongoing

Reoccurring commitment for a minimum of one month is preferred (2 hrs/wk)

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday

Function: create/update website pages using a simple content management system

Function Duty: upload photos, text and graphics to tuw.org webpages

Function Skills: basic graphic design skills; a keen eye for adhering to brand standards

Media Relations Volunteer

Ongoing

One-time or reoccurring commitment - either is acceptable (4 hour minimum)

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday

Function: build Trident United Way’s relationships with members of local media

Function Duty: update TUW’s media contact spreadsheet

Function Skills: basic computer and phone skills

Pre-Event Social Media Volunteer

One-time or reoccurring commitment (2 hrs/wk minimum, 2-3 times/wk) - either is acceptable

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday

Function: publicize Day of Caring on social media

Function Duty: create content for social media accounts, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Function Skills: basic computer skills; basic graphic design skills

Day of Caring Photo Volunteer

One-time commitment (8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., plus a 1 hour orientation prior to Nov. 18)

Function: real-time social media engagement with Day of Caring participants

Function Duty: share photos on social media

Function Skills: basic computer skills
