EASY SUMMER CLERICAL VOLUNTEER GIG FOR ONLY 2 HOURS/WEEK IN OUR SANTA ANA HOSPICE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE!

Our office volunteers are important people who can make a difference in the lives of those affected by terminal illness by supporting the office hospice team (please see below for information about Hospice Care).

We are looking for bright and reliable individuals to assist us here in our trendy downtown Santa Ana office: filing, charting, shredding, labels, data-entry, follow-up or bereavement calls, etc. We may also provide references for college, grad programs, employment, etc.

Process: email, schedule intro/orientation and training/paperwork: READY TO GO!!!!

* Must be minimum 16 with parental auth. note.

Description

Hospice volunteers are committed people who donate a few hours to provide emotional support and respite care to hospice patients and their families. Their compassionate and caring nature is evident as they help people through what can be one of life’s most difficult processes. Volunteers often make a big difference in the life of a hospice family. They are available to serve in many ways, but are often most valued as a caring listener, in providing relief to caregivers or helping with errands. The hospice volunteer plays a pivotal role in the provision of services to patients and families. As the only non-paid team member in the program, they bring to the terminally ill and loved ones a special kind of caring that comes from a desire to help and aid in comfort.
