Our nonprofit is creating an open source geodesic dome structure and we need quick help converting/exporting several version 15.0 SAP2000 files to .exc (Revit exchange) OR .std (STAAD) OR .stp (CIS/2 STEP) format. You'll need about 20 minutes and version 15.0 or newer software to help with this.
WHY WE NEED THIS:
We're a 100% volunteer and unpaid group and we spent 3 months last year working with an intern team running calculations with the SAP2000 software. Our most recent volunteer engineer uses different programs though and the interns we worked with last year are no longer available. So what we need is quick help to "save-as" the SAP2000 structural model (not the results generated from the analysis) into either of these three options it provides that will be workable for us moving forward: .exc (Revit exchange) OR .std (STAAD) OR .stp (CIS/2 STEP) format.
