Do you enjoy organizing and coordinating? Volunteer to assist patients, families and other volunteers with legacy projects. This volunteer experience will include working in the office to plan and confirm legacy project details.

Help support life review volunteers who are working with patients and families on projects including life stories (recording, writing and publishing) and photo complilations (memory books, scrapbooks and more).

This volunteer experience can also include working to coordinate memory bear creation process with community sewing volunteers and bereaved family members by phone. Optional visits to patients and families.

Heritage Hospice is a family-founded hospice that takes pride in providing our patients with comfort, dignity and peace either in the comfort of their own home or in a skilled facility of their choice.

Hospice care treats the whole person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs in the last phase of life. These services may be provided at home, in an inpatient facility, nursing home or in another setting that best suits the needs of the patient and caregivers. Hospice care helps the person to live at home or in the most comfortable setting as long as possible, stay as active as possible, express and accept feelings, assists the family to care for their loved one, manage practical tasks, deal with stress, provide support and feel at peace.
