The LifeLong Downtown Oakland Center is one of LifeLong Medical Care’s numerous Community Health Centers and is dedicated to serving individuals with chronic illnesses, physical and mental disabilities, and difficult financial circumstances.

LifeLong's Veggie Giveaway program aims to improve access to healthy fruits and vegetables to the underserved population by distributing fresh produce donated by the Ecology Farmers Market in Berkeley, and Rockridge Market Hall.

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help carry on this tradition and significant service to our community.

Volunteers must fulfill the following roles:

• Picking up donated produce from the Ecology Center Farmers’ Market in South Berkeley (Adeline & 63rd St) every Tuesday evening (6:30-7:00pm)
• Picking up donated produce & baked goods from Rockridge Market Hall in Oakland every Tuesday evening (immediately after the previous pickup)
• Volunteers must be able to lift 30lb and must have access to a car.
• Delivery of all produce to the LifeLong Downtown Oakland Center

**Mileage reimbursements are available.**
