NetWork Voluntours is hiring an AmeriCorps Delta Service Corps Member to serve as its Volunteer Manager. The position has three major aspects: volunteer recruitment,
volunteer coordination and volunteer management. Essential work functions are as follows:

Volunteer Recruitment:

• Researching and identifying potential volunteer groups
• Arranging communication to these potential groups
• Handling communication with interested groups

Volunteer Coordination:

• Working with our community partners to identify the best volunteer projects
• Working with our hospitality partners to arrange logistics for our volunteer groups
• Working with volunteer groups to understand their needs and goals for their volunteer
• experience

Volunteer Management:

• Working on-site with volunteers to ensure they’re achieving the goals set forth in
• Answering questions and introducing our organization to volunteers
• Documenting volunteer work

Our volunteer coordinator will be working closely with our volunteers and community partners
on a weekly basis. The most important skill needed for the position is communication. This
includes written communication and verbal communication.

Program Benefits:

• Living stipend (approx. $13,000 per year)
