Logo General

Over the last nine years, the Woodlawn Run for a Cause has had nearly 2,000 runners and more than $97,000 has been raised for the following charities: Ty Louis Campbell Foundation, HOPe Charity, Kalie Gill Family Foundation, National Brain Tumor Society, Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund, Children's Hospital at Montefiore Medical Center, Compassionate Care Hospice, Part of the Solution, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Bronx Community Health Network, Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and Calvary Hospital.

We are happy to announce the ninth annual race will be held on Saturday, September 17 at 10am. The course begins at the Woodlawn Bus Stop at the corner of Nursery Road to finish at Indian Field. Proceeds will go to Boomer Esiason Foundation and Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Tri-State Area.

There are going to be plenty of tasks we will need help with on race day, including distributing water, recording times at the finish line and helping at the registration table. The race will begin at 10am, but I am sure I will need support from 8:30am - 11:00am to make sure everything goes smoothly, pre, during and post race.

I appreciate your support! If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.
