Sunshine volunteers bring good cheer and smiles to our patients and guest, lifting spirits and brightening their day. The Sunshine volunteer will round the medical center with M.A.C. the Mobile Activity Cart visiting waiting areas, the emergency room and Pediatrics department to offer activity packets to youth guest making their wait time in the clinical areas easier. They will also visit our new mothers in Maternity upon discharge to bring a special gift from the Volunteer Services department. The Sunshine volunteer will also round on patient floors with activity packs for our adult patients. Time commitment is once a week for 3-4 hours depending on patient/guest volume. Ideal start time is 10:00am. One volunteer each day Monday-Friday.
