Office Hours Volunteer - The Secondhand Hounds office is currently closed to outside visitors but is still responsible for giving out foster supplies, taking in donations, doing laundry, tending to any animals in the office etc. A mask is required at all times while in the office.

Since our founding in 2009, we've saved over 20,000 dogs, cats and critters.

Secondhand Hounds is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue based in Minnetonka, MN. Our many volunteers have made a positive impact on the lives of many dogs and cats in our community. Our organization provides safe shelter, proper veterinary care and daily necessities for animals at risk, while working hard to find each a permanent, loving home! Without supporters such as YOU, these dogs and cats will be left to face their challenges alone. They may never know the love of a family or have the opportunity to be someone’s best friend.
