We are looking for skilled, hardworking, and energetic individuals to beautify our community at Buckingham Garden, an affordable housing program for low-income seniors. This is an opportunity to create a more comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents. Volunteering in this capacity will help improve the living experience of our residents and allow funds to be spent on other services and resources that directly benefit our clients.

The Buckingham Gardens Landscaping Specialist will work to improve the front yards of our residents at Buckingham Gardens. You will be responsible for mowing grass, planting flowers, weeding, and ultimately keeping our grounds neat. You work one hour shift once a month for at least three months.

While Volunteers of America Texas has a number of needs and opportunities that we would like to address through volunteerism we do not always have the financial resources to purchase the materials and supplies for each project. For some projects we may ask that the volunteer group to provide the materials and supplies required.

VOATX is a faith based, nonprofit organization dedicated to lifting the most vulnerable in the society out of the shadows. We step forward to help individuals find strength, healing, and reach their full potential through services.
