Park Connections staff presents multiple education, recreation, and conservation programs throughout the year. Volunteers are needed to help with preparing for MetroParks events and programs. Volunteers may prep crafts, prepare signage, organize materials and supplies, clean materials and supplies, and other general tasks.

The mission of MetroParks of Butler County is to provide a superior park system that maximizes the community’s quality of life through conservation, education and recreation.
Description
MetroParks of Butler County was established in 1955 for the purpose of preserving and restoring areas of outstanding natural significance within the county. MetroParks offers active recreational opportunites such as hiking, walking and jogging, fishing, boating, camping in a wide variety of beautiful and convenient settings. There are also opportunites for historical and conservation education, with historical sites and natural areas- 3000+ acres, 10 openly active parks, 18 miles of hiking trails, 22 reservable shelters, a conference center.
