The American Diabetes Association is excited to announce our Step Out:Walk to Stop Diabetes will be held on September 17th at Comerica Park this year! Step Out:Walk to Stop Diabetes is a walk that raises funds to support our mission:to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

We are looking for outgoing individuals that would like to assist with day of event details. We have a variety of opportunities to meet the desires of almost any potential volunteer. For the organized individual, come help us with registration! If you like working with kids, you can assist with our Kids Zone. Are you passionate about our mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes ? Come volunteer in our VIP Red Strider Tent where you can help create an exciting environment for our incredible walkers living with diabetes. These are just a few of the many opportunities where you can volunteer and make a difference at Step Out:Walk to Stop Diabetes.

Our volunteer opportunities start at 6:30am and last until 1:30pm. Most volunteer opportunities only last a few hours, but volunteers are welcome to help out the whole day if desired.
