At each Portland Timbers and Thorns game at Providence Park, we run a 50/50 raffle benefiting the Fields For All to build fields in low-income neighborhoods, and for Active Children Portland , to fill those fields with youth and programming.
How you can help: When you volunteer with the 50/50 raffle, you get a ticket into the sold out game for FREE! Your role as a volunteer is to excite, encourage, sell tickets, and talk to fans about Active Children Portland ’s mission and the programs we offer.
Before the game, complete our online training (http://acportland.org/5050-raffle-volunteer-training) Arrive 2 hours before kickoff. We will give a quick explanation of the day, set you up at a kiosk or with a mobile tablet, and start selling tickets! When selling ends at the 55 minute mark, all volunteers are free to stay and enjoy the rest of the game.
Come out to Providence Park, help an amazing organization, and enjoy yourself with the most exciting fan base in MLS!

Mission Statement
Active Children Portland’s mission is to empower students to lead healthy lives, succeed academically, and inspire positive community engagement. The organization began in 2011 with the vision to transform communities and serve hundreds of local students through youth sports. Active Children Portland program participants receive programming 30 weeks a year, 4 days per week, which keeps them active, healthy, and engaged in a positive and stable after-school environment. Our programs focus on helping all participants to develop the confidence and life skills they need to succeed. We believe that by taking a holistic and comprehensive approach to youth-development, and by focusing on kids who need it the most, we CAN make a positive difference for the next generation.
