Medical Assistant - Summer 2016
Responsibilities will include follow up and reminder phone calls, cleaning and restocking medical exam rooms, cleaning medical equipment, laundry and folding of exam gowns, responding to incoming phone calls, and other duties as assigned. We provide food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services to reduce the burden of poverty. We seek justice through community organizing and public advocacy. Description
Bread for the City offers food and clothing, social services, legal counsel, and medical care at no cost to eligible clients. Anyone living in the District of Columbia who meets income guidelines and other program requirements (such as lack of health insurance) may be eligible for help at Bread for the City.
