The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP), as a part of Edu-Futuro, a non-profit organization, is looking for young professionals in Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland area to take part in reviewing Scholarship applications.

Since 2006, ELP has worked to empower Latino and other first generation immigrant college-bound youth. In addition, ELP, under Edu-Futuro, has engaged families through education and leadership development programs to insure academic and economic success for the immigrant community. Become a part of this success today!

We are looking for Young Professionals in the DC, MD and VA area to be part of our Scholarship Committee at one of our three sites: Fairfax, Falls Church and Arlington. As a Scholarship Committee Member, you would be responsible for working with the other committee members to determine the winners of the Emerging Leaders Program Scholarship. Each Committee Member will review student scholarship applications on his or her own time (committee volunteers will receive applications prior to the interviews). Then the committee will come together on site to meet with other scholarship committee members to interview applicants. The Committee will then come to a consensus as to who will receive the scholarship award before they leave the program site at the end of the evening.

Dates and Location for ELP Summer 2016: Wednesday, July 27, 2016 (Falls Church Site) and/or Thursday, July 28, 2016 (Arlington and Fairfax Site)
