Assist men and women who are involved in the job readiness process with writing their resume. Jobs Plus is a program of City Gospel Mission that helps unemployed men and women prepare for sucess on the job through classes, mentoring and coaching, and services. They also work with employers and help them find qualified employees.
Good communication skills and experience writing resumes is desired. Many (but not all) of the men and women have been unemployed for awhile, or have very little job history. Experience and love of working with people of diverse backgrounds a plus.
Flexible hours (a couple of hours a week, weekdays) at the Jobs Plus office located at City Gospel Missions administrative offices.

We collaborate with more than 350 local churches and 2,500 volunteers to annually serve more than 6800 adults and 9800 youth.
