The North Jersey Pride Run is the kickoff event for a month-long of events celebrating LGBTQ Pride. This event specifically will be raising money for our RADKids group, which provides social and educational opportunities to gender-creative kids and their families.
The Run is a 5K race that begins at 9am:
Onsite registration: Volunteers will sit at registration table, help new runners get registered and hand out bibs.
Water stations: Volunteers will fill cups of water and hand them to thirsty runners.
Cheering squad and course direction: Volunteers will be stationed along the course to cheer runners on and reassure them that they're heading the right way.
Cleanup: Volunteers will help break down the event.

North Jersey Pride is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that promotes equality, community and family in the upper Garden State. Through educational and entertaining events, and partnerships with other community nonprofits, we bring LGBTQ members and allies together in support of a common cause: equality for all.
Description
North Jersey Pride hosts the family-friendly North Jersey Pride Festival, now in its 5th year, as well as other events in June and throughout the year. We seek to create a safe space for LGBTQ youth, in particular, within the broader context of a cohesive community of LGBTQ individuals and their supportive allies.
We are an all-volunteer organization and, as such, we rely on the help of community members to produce our wonderful events.
